Privacy Policy

Our website is hosted on Big Cartel service which has its own privacy and cookies policy. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allow us to sell our products to you. Big Cartel hosts the store pages, ordering system, and order data.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including but not limited to BigCartelGmailPrivy or MailChimp and Mailerlite. You can reference their individual privacy policies at the links provided.


Information I Collect and How I Use It

If you contact us, sending a message via our website or a third-party website (e.g. Twitter, Facebook), you give us consent to collect and store the information that you’ve given to us. It may include your IP address, name, physical address, email address.

Any information we do hold will be kept private.

To receive my email newsletter, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name and email address. Additionally if you choose to fill out my contact form, you must share your name and email address so I may respond to any inquiry you might have.

Big Cartel platform only uses cookies when customers purchase something, according to the directive "strictly necessary". These cookies are essential to ensure that your order is remembered between pages so that we can process it properly. In additions to this, we only use cookies to log visits to the website in anonymous form (via Google Analytics).

We track usage on www.ohvello.com via Google Analytics. The analytics.js JavaScript library is part of Google’s Universal Analytics offering and uses first-party cookies to distinguish unique users and to throttle the request rate. To collect general information on how visitors use our site i.e. the number of visitors, where visitors have come from, the pages they previously visited etc. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, and no personal information is recorded. Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Dropbox is Privacy Shield certified.

~Object. You can object to receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them by unsubscribing from my email newsletters, or contacting me. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless it is needed for legal reasons.

~Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
